Fence Post Installation

All of our fence types use a driven post installation method. The posts are driven down a minimum of 48” below grade, and unlike concrete footings, are guaranteed not to heave, therefore increasing the longevity of your fence. This also makes for a mess free install, no need to worry about your yard being torn up or having to haul away dirt. Another great perk to this method is that it gives us the ability to complete most of our projects the same day we start! We aim to build quality fences that will last for years to come and have found this to be the superior approach for fence post installation.

Locating Your Property Lines

It is important to determine the exact location of your property lines prior to your fence installation. This can be done by using a survey map, locating the property stakes/pins, or by consulting with a land surveyor. If you don’t have a copy of your property survey you can usually get one by contacting your city hall.

Marking Underground Utilities

We schedule the marking of public utilities for you. The homeowner is responsible for the marking of any private utilities (e.g., garage electrical lines, pool equipment, etc.) It’s important to mark underground utilities before driving any posts to prevent accidental damage to utility lines, which can cause injury, property damage, and service interruptions.

Irrigation Systems

As long as your irrigation system has been installed inside of your property lines it won’t be much of a concern. However, if you know of any sprinkler heads that are directly on or outside of your property lines you may want to have them moved prior to your fence installation. Due to regulations we are typically unable to install a fence off of your property in order to accommodate misplaced sprinkler heads.

Black chain link is by far our most popular fence option and is very affordable without having quality comprised.

Under most circumstances, we use 2” diameter corner, end, and gate posts, 1-5/8” line posts, and 1-3/8” top rail
Our black vinyl coated chain link fabric has an 8 gauge finish with an 11 gauge steel core (thicker than what you’ll find at most big box stores)
